What is a potli bag?
A potli bag is a traditional Indian drawstring pouch bag, hand-embellished with beadwork, pearls, cutdana or crystal detailing. Originally carried by Indian royalty to hold coins and jewellery, it's now a staple accessory for weddings, sangeets and festive occasions.
How long does dispatch and delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 24 hours from our warehouse (Monday–Saturday). Delhi & NCR typically takes 2–4 working days — same-day delivery in Delhi & NCR is available too, just connect with us at +91 9560900408. Rest of India takes 4–8 working days. Timelines may vary slightly for select remote locations.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free shipping on all orders across India, no minimum order value required.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
COD is available for Delhi NCR only — call us directly at +91 9560900408 / +91 9871291011 to place a COD order. For the rest of India, we accept secure prepaid payment via Razorpay (UPI, credit and debit cards).
What is your return, exchange and cancellation policy?
Since every Tareyaa bag is handcrafted and made to order, orders cannot be cancelled once placed. We don't offer exchanges for disliking the style, shape or colour, or for normal wear over time. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us within 48 hours of delivery via WhatsApp (+91 9560900408 / +91 9871291011) with an unboxing video — we'll arrange an exchange for the same product. Return shipping is at the customer's cost; we cover shipping on the replacement. Refunds are issued only if a package is lost in transit.
Why might my bag look slightly different from the photos?
Every Tareyaa piece is handmade, so slight variations in colour, embellishment placement and detailing are natural — that's part of the artisanal craftsmanship. Minor colour differences from product photos aren't grounds for return or exchange.
How do I care for my potli bag or clutch?
Keep your bag in its dust bag when not in use, and away from moisture. Avoid direct contact with perfume or water to protect the beadwork, pearls and embellishments.
